Whilst the majority of your teeth are easily removable, it's occasionally more complicated, and requires a surgical procedure.
When a tooth is visible above the gum line, it can easily be removed with forceps in a simple extraction. However, if a tooth has yet to grow through, gum tissue or bone needs to be removed in order to extract it. These surgical extractions require stitches to help you heal properly.
